What exactly is oakpool?

oakpool is a purpose-led, fully distributed marketing cooperative that ā€œbuilds systems for sustainable growth.ā€ In plain English: we plug senior creatives, media buyers, analysts and technologists into brands that are trying to do some good in the world.

Think of us as a growth SWAT team. We handle paid media, social, email/SMS, data & analytics, creative production, web design/development and copy. If it moves the revenue needle online, we probably do it.

Our portfolio is wide but not random. We’ve spent the last eight years sharpening playbooks in outdoor recreation, consumer packaged goods (CPG), spirits, hospitality & tourism, entertainment and financial services plus cross-sector work in sustainability, wellness and financial inclusion. Leveraging wins from one vertical to another is our unfair advantage.

No ivory-tower HQ, no bloated layers. Roughly 40 senior specialists work remotely across six time zones, syncing with your Slack, Notion or Asana as if we were in-house. We also donate 1 % of annual revenue through 1 % for the Planet, so growth and impact stay joined at the hip.

Everywhere, and that’s the point. You’ll find clusters of us in New York City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Boston, but we’ve also got teammates sprinkled across the rest of the U.S., Latin America, and Europe.

Two friends launched oakpool in 2018 after meeting under an oak tree on a trout stream (true story). We’ve grown from a side-hustle partnership to a global co-op managing millions of dollars in ad spend annually.
