See You in Austin

April 2023

Austin, Texas, is a city long known for its offbeat pioneering spirit. If everyone in LA speaks in Rumi & Ram Dass quotes, Austinites are busy quoting our man Rust Cohle.

Alex and I are stoked to be landing in this funky psychedelic cowboy town next week for a handful of reasons.

  1. Consensus –  This is Crypto & Web3’s largest annual event. Recently, our background in working with crowdfunding platforms, combined with a long time personal interest and participation in the space has put us in a position to onboard new crypto-native partners & clients. We’ll be meeting with the teams of our new clients, catching up with old friends, and making new ones.
  2. The Outdoor Industry – We’re not sure if it started with Yeti, but landlocked & relatively flat Austin has become one of the epicenters of activity in the outdoor industry. Despite our shiny and sleek high-tech clients, a substantial portion of our business will always be dedicated to serving the best companies in the outdoors. We’ll be catching up with friends, partners, and collaborators and generally pondering why we haven’t moved to the Outdoor Industry’s equivalent of 1920s Paris just yet.
  1. We don’t have anywhere better to be – That’s right, Alex and I are still 100% cringey “digital nomads.” Ramblers must ramble, stones must roll, time is a flat circle, and the show must go on.

If you’re in town and are looking for a friendly face to buy you a coffee or a beer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Otherwise, we’ll look forward to seeing you somewhere between a late-night Leon Bridges set at a dive bar and a conference center full of futurists.
